Stand With the Mission in Prayer

Pray for safety on the open sea and on the rivers, and that every community along the waterways of the Darien province will have the opportunity to hear God's Word and respond in faith.

Pray for open hearts, that the Wounaan, Emberá, and Guna tribes will hear and receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pray that those who have recently trusted in Christ will take deep root in God's Word and grow in faith, like seed planted in good soil. Ask the Lord to protect them from the enemy, from discouragement and trials, and from the distractions and cares of this world, so that they will remain faithful and bear lasting fruit.

Pray that every lesson will be based faithfully on God's Word, be clearly understood, and produce lasting spiritual fruit.

Pray that believers will be led by the Spirit of God so that they will grow in love and unity and work together to advance God's Kingdom.

Pray that God will provide physical endurance, spiritual discernment, and wisdom for all who lead the body of Christ, the church.

Pray that the Lord will continue to raise up faithful men and women who will courageously carry the Gospel to remote villages throughout the jungles of Panama.

Pray for the men who are being trained to understand God's Word, that they will grow in spiritual maturity, wisdom, and Christlike character. Ask the Lord to equip them to teach the Scriptures faithfully, disciple others, and become courageous leaders with the heart of a servant, who will strengthen the churches for generations to come.

Reaching the villages can require 18 hours on open sea, day-long trips in dugout canoes on remote rivers and off-road travel across dangerous mountains. Pray for safety, good weather, and protection from harm.

Pray that God will guard the servant leaders from discouragement, spiritual opposition, illness, and from anything that would hinder the spread of the Gospel.

Pray that those who are taught will become disciples who make disciples, establishing strong, self-sustaining churches that continue proclaiming Christ until the end of the age. To God be the glory!
