Panama Mission Foundation is a 501(c)(3) Christian nonprofit based in Madera, California. PMF sends missionaries to remote rainforest villages in the Darien and Panama provinces to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, disciple believers, train indigenous pastoral leaders, and help the poor.
PMF serves the indigenous peoples of the Darien Province in eastern Panama, primarily the Wounaan, the Emberá, and the Guna. These communities live in remote rainforest villages that are largely inaccessible by road and can only be reached by boat.
The PMF Bible Institute is a pastoral training center located in the District of Chiman, Panama, founded in 2014. It offers a 2.5-year program leading to a diploma in Pastoral Ministry. Graduates are equipped to preach the Gospel, plant new churches, disciple believers, shepherd congregations, and train others.
